Supervision Group
I am a board approved supervisor and I offer a closed supervision group that is open to all skill levels. The purpose of the group is to discuss difficulties involved in therapy while respecting the privacy of our clients. The rationale to offer the group to all skill levels is to encourage intergenerational interaction between therapists. For this group I will log the hours in the instance any group member needs to reference the information to meet any professional board requirements. The cost of the group is $50 and we meet every 2 weeks. For further information, please reach out.
In supervision, I have a collaborative approach where I will want to learn more about the difficulty and complexity so you, as a group member, as well as the others can learn therapeutically effective options to better engage clients. I encourage interaction between group members in an honoring way in order to allow multiple perspectives so we can all learn together. I have over 15 years of group facilitating experience and love the variety a group can invite.
Processing Group
Processing groups are intended for individuals who have already been actively engaged in therapy. In the group, members discuss their feelings and experiences while reacting to other group members’ experiences. The group’s intention is to grow relationships with group members, and learn how to transfer these skills into relationships outside of the therapeutic group. To promote this dynamic, group members are encouraged to share their fears, and perceptions toward other group members in order to increase authenticity.
